Katherine Boesen appointed Senior Vice President Global Commercial & Key Account Management
Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground handling services to the aviation industry, has appointed Katherine Boesen as Senior Vice President Global Commercial & Key Account Management Ground Handling effective 1 May 2015. Katherine Boesen will directly report to Juan-José Andrès Alvez, Executive Vice President Ground Handling Europe South, UK, Africa, LATAM & Global Commercial.
As Senior Vice President Global Commercial & Key Account Management Ground Handling, Katherine Boesen will be responsible for implementing and further advancing Swissport’s global commercial strategy, coordinating commercial activities between the different business divisions and developing global key accounts. With all of this, she will be actively contributing to Swissport’s strategic focus on sustainable growth. Moreover, her role and team will concentrate on customer satisfaction.

Katherine Boesen is an experienced commercial professional with more than 20 years in positions across sales and commercial solutions in the logistics, financial services and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Swissport she held the position of Chief Commercial Officer for the Eastern European and Asia Pacific region at DAMCO (the Logistics Division of Maersk Group). She has lived and worked in China, Australia and Switzerland.
