Michel Glorieux to take over as CEO of Swissport Geneva on January 2010
Zurich/Geneva, 18 September 2009 – Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground services to the aviation sector, has appointed Michel Glorieux as its new CEO of Swissport Geneva. Glorieux, who is 43, takes over from Ernst Hochuli, who will retire at the end of this year.
Michel Glorieux can draw on an already long and successful aviation and Swissport career in his new function. He joined Swissport Geneva (from Swissair Paris) back in 1995, and has since gone on to hold various demanding management positions within the Geneva organisation. Currently Head of Passenger Services, he will be carefully prepared by Ernst Hochuli for his new duties in overall charge of Swissport’s Geneva station over the coming months. Ernst Hochuli has been instrumental in the substantial success that Swissport Geneva has enjoyed in the 13 years he has been at its helm. He will now enter well-earned retirement at the end of this year.
