Rudolf Steiner joins Swissport again
Swissport Cargo Services will strengthen its Middle East & Asia region with the appointment of a new Senior Vice-President
Zurich, October 14, 2008 – Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground handling services for the air transport sector, has appointed Rudolf Steiner as Senior Vice President Middle East and Asia within its Cargo Services. He assumes his duties on <nobr>November 1.</nobr>
Rudolf Steiner (46) joined the airfreight industry in 1985 and has acquired valuable experience and market knowledge by working in various capacities for airlines, forwarders and handling companies. Ruedi Steiner comes to Swissport from Cargologic, where he has served as EVP Marketing and Sales. He knows Swissport very well as he was with the company from 2005 until earlier this year as SVP Global Sales & Key Account Management in the Cargo division and initially helped to build up the freight business with a remarkable success.
