Swissport awarded ”International Cargo Handler of the Year – Africa” for the second time in a row

The award was presented on 21st February at a Gala Award night during the Air Cargo Africa 2013 conference and exhibition in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Swissport Cargo Services is proud to again have been awarded “International Ground Handler of the Year in Africa” amongst various air cargo industry players. Part of the respected ‘International Awards for Excellence in Air Cargo’, it is widely regarded as the premier award for cargo handlers operating in this rapidly developing region. The award winners are chosen by the readers of the magazine, who nominate their choice in different categories through online participation over the period of one month.
Colin Baldwin, Swissport’s Senior Vice President of Cargo for Africa, thanked customers and partners for their support and said the achievement was the result of the dedication and commitment shown by staff to customers in ensuring that their cargo is handled and treated with care.
