Lost Property Service Airport Genève
If you lose something, we may find it – or some honest citizen may hand it in. You can report the loss via the Internet, by telephone or at the lost property office counter.
Reporting a loss
Reporting a loss via the Internet is free of charge. If you report the loss by phone 0900 775 775 you are charged only the call charge (from fixed network CHF 1.10 / min.).

Please complete the online form with all the information you have on the lost item: container (plastic bag, rucksack etc.), an exact description of the article concerned, the precise contents of suitcases and bags etc., the date of the loss, and the flight number.
Reclaim fee
If we find the item you have lost, you are charged a reclaim fee as follows:
Pickup at the Lost Property Office at Genevaairport in the arrival hall | CHF 20.- per item |
Forwarding by post within Switzerland. Only against advance payment. | CHF 40.– per item |
Forwarding of items outside of Switzerland to the airport nearest to you. | free of charge |
Sale of unclaimed items
After the legal storage period has expired, unclaimed items are handed over to fundsachenverkauf.ch GmbH, a company specialised in the sale of lost and found items. Information on upcoming auctions can be found under www.fundsachenverkauf.ch.
