Zurich, 8 April 2009 – Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground services to the aviation sector, has won a new licence together with its partner Customer Ground Services AG (CGS) to offer special assistance services (PRM) at Zurich Airport.
Zurich, 1 April 2009 – Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground services for the aviation sector, has scored a number of recent successes in its Swissport Cargo Services airfreight handling division, with new agreements concluded with the likes of Cargolux, Air Astana, Hainan Airlines, Onur Air, Lufthansa, Aerosvit/Unitag, Transaero and United Airlines over the past few weeks. The successes are all the more impressive in view of the current downward trends within the logistics sector.
Effective April 1st 2009 and for a period of 3 years, Flybe, Europe\'s largest and most successful regional airline and the United Kingdom\'s premier domestic airline, is to increase its Swissport relationship with the award of three contracts for ground handling at Newcastle, Birmingham and Gatwick Airports. At all three airports, Swissport will provide full baggage handling and check-in services.
