Swissport Cargo Services continues to grow in Amsterdam
Zurich, 3rd August 2012 - Swissport International, the world’s leading provider of ground services for the aviation sector, has secured two additional major cargo customers at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, following several successes already this year.
From this month, Swissport Cargo Services will begin cargo handling for Air China’s daily B747-400 freighters into and out of Amsterdam, and will also begin handling the trucked freight movements at Schiphol for Turkish Airlines, before also taking over the handling of Turkish Airlines’ flown cargo volumes at Amsterdam Schiphol from September.
John Batten, Executive Vice President for Global Cargo at Swissport International, commented: “We are very pleased to begin working with these two quality airlines at Schiphol, and to continue growing in the important Amsterdam market. These new partnerships will provide a further significant boost to our volumes and consolidate our position in Amsterdam.”
