We have defined our ESG strategy and plan based on extensive stakeholder engagement and through an assessment of what is material in our lines of business. We have brought this strategy to life through three central pillars: People (Social), Planet (Environmental), and Policy (Governance). Each pillar corresponds with a component of the ESG framework. We set an overall ambition as well as targets for each of these areas and are working relentlessly toward achieving our goals.

Measuring progress toward net-zero

Swissport manages sustainability performance through consistent measurement, monitoring, and oversight across its global operations. We track Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in line with internationally recognised frameworks, including SBTi-validated targets and ISO 14001 certification, ensuring a consistent approach across all locations. Standardised audits and governance processes support alignment across our network and drive continuous environmental improvement, embedding sustainability into daily operations.

Collaboration for sustainable aviation

Working across the value chain

Sustainability in aviation depends on coordinated action across the value chain. Swissport works with airlines, airports, suppliers, and industry partners to support more responsible and efficient operations. These collaborations help align standards, improve transparency, and drive progress on shared sustainability goals.

We also participate in industry initiatives and include sustainability criteria in procurement and partnership decisions to support responsible decision-making across our operations.
