Swissport generates around 80 percent of its revenue with ramp handling and passenger services. In 2023 the company served more than 232 million airline passengers and handled over 3.9 million flights. Under the Aspire brand, the global leader in aviation ground services has been rapidly growing it lounge portfolio to some 69 airport lounges.
Air cargo handling accounts for roughly 20 percent of our revenue. At our currently 115 air cargo centers we handle everything from general cargo to specialist shipments such as pharmaceuticals and other temperature sensitive products. Some 4.7 million tons of cargo passed through Swissport’s air cargo centers in 2023. Ancillary business such as airport lounge hospitality, executive aviation and load control complement our portfolio.
