Moving of Aircraft
Swissport provides pushback and towing of aircraft services at 214 airports worldwide. To move aircraft of all sizes, our qualified staff operates more than 850 pushback tractors with up to 500 horse powers. With our commitment to increase the share of electrically powered Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to at least 55 percent by 2032, we are striving to reduce our overall carbon footprint and make global aviation greener.

Fueling
Swissport offers fueling services for customer airlines at 38 airports in eight countries. Every day Swissport fills the tanks of more than 5,000 aircraft. That's more than 21 million liters of jet fuel per year and the equivalent of nearly 640,000 standard 20-foot containers, which would fill the world's largest container ship 29 times.

De-icing
Swissport offers De-Icing and Anti-Icing services contributing to safe flight operations of airlines at 61 airports. In the winter season of 2022-2023, more than 12,500 aircraft were provided with our services, using various kinds of fluids based on a mix of water and glycol.
We are fully committed to environmentally sustainable de-icing operations and are constantly striving for an optimization of glycol use and glycol recovery by using the latest available technologies and insights.

Load Control
As part of our service portfolio, we offer load control services to some 70 customer airlines. Dedicated units with highly qualified specialists create load sheets for various airlines. The load control teams calculate weight and balance and the trim for each aircraft supporting flight crews to safely and efficiently operate their flight.

Baggage Services
As part of its service portfolio, Swissport also offers baggage services at over 214 airports worldwide. On average, some 246,000 pieces of luggage are handled every day on behalf of more than 500 airlines. This means that every year some 90 million pieces of luggage are handled at all Swissport locations around the world.

Aircraft cleaning
Our professional cleaning teams take care of our customers' aircraft and prepare them for the next flight. This includes the thorough cleaning of the cabin, the disposal of waste and the fitting of seats with new blankets and cushions. Depending on the aircraft type and ground time, we offer our customers services tailored to their needs.
