Reporting a loss / searching for a lost item
You can search for your lost item on the internet, as well as report a lost item. This service is free of charge.

You can phone +41 (0) 900 57 10 15 to ask whether or not your item has been handed in. You will only be charged the cost of the call (from a fixed network CHF 1,19 / min.).
Tax- and dutyfree articles (alcohol, cigarettes, perfume etc.) may only be handed over after all custom fees and taxes have been paid. This can only be done in person at the airport.
Reclaim fee
If we find the item you have lost, you are charged a reclaim fee as follows:
Pickup at the Lost Property Office at Zurich airport in the arrival hall Terminal 1. Opening hours: MON to SUN from 1000 until 1300. | CHF 30.- per item |
Miles & More SEN / HON against Membership card. | free of charge |
Forwarding by post within Switzerland and Principality of Liechtenstein. Only against advance payment. | CHF 50.– per item |
Forwarding of items outside of Switzerland to the airport nearest to you. Pickup must be organized by yourself. We hold no liability against further loss or damage during shipping. The Lost Property Office at the destination might charge fees. | CHF 60.– per item |
Sale of unclaimed items
After the legal storage period has expired, unclaimed items are handed over to fundsachenverkauf.ch GmbH, a company specialised in the sale of lost and found items. Information on upcoming auctions can be found under www.fundsachenverkauf.ch.
