Policy
Responsible management provides a solid, long-term foundation for success. We commit to the sustainable delivery of high-quality services in a cost-efficient manner, thereby creating value for our clients, our investors and the aviation industry at large.
COMPLIANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT
setting ethical principles
At Swissport, we foster corporate behavior based on honesty, integrity and respect for the law. Overall responsibility for issues regarding fair competition, anti-corruption and human rights lies with the CEO and the General Counsel & Company Secretary; the responsibility is further shared with regional managers.
The principles are explained in our Code of Conduct, which is supplemented by detailed standards, directives and guidelines.
Information Security
Data protection & cybersecurity
Swissport deals with customer data such as air freight documents and passengers’ travel data – all of which makes careful handling of this information essential. Most of this personal data is handled electronically, which makes IT security one of Swissport’s most crucial responsibilities within
our data protection management activities.
Swissport is ISO 27001 certified since December 2023.
SUSTAINABLE Supply chain
HUMAN RIGHTS AND LABOR PRINCIPLES
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact since 2011, Swissport is committed to upholding the highest human rights standards and combatting all forms of human rights violations.
We use risk management and regulatory compliance solutions, and additional investigations or audits, to screen potential suppliers regarding human rights issues, environmental criteria or legal compliance prior to engaging with them.
Corporate governance
Management & ownership
Swissport International AG is managed by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) which comprises both the Group Management as well as the regional CEOs. It is supervised by a non-executive Board of Directors.
Since December 2020, Swissport is owned by a group of mainly US- and UK-based investors.
