Lost Property Service Airport Zurich
If you lose something, we may find it – or some honest citizen may hand it in. You can report the loss via the Internet, by telephone or at the lost property office counter.
Reporting a loss
Reporting a loss via the Internet is free of charge. If you report the loss by phone
+41 (0) 900 57 1015 you are charged only the call charge (from fixed network CHF 1.19 / min.).
Please complete the online form with all the information you have on the lost item: container (plastic bag, rucksack etc.), an exact description of the article concerned, the precise contents of suitcases and bags etc., the date of the loss, and the flight number.
Tax- and dutyfree articles (alcohol, cigarettes, perfume etc.) may only be handed over after all custom fees and taxes have been paid. This can only be done in person at the airport.
If we find the item you have lost, you are charged a reclaim fee as follows:

Pickup must be organized by yourself. We hold no liability against further loss or damage during shipping. The Lost Property Office at the destination might charge fees.

Sale of unclaimed items
After the legal storage period has expired, unclaimed items are handed over to fundsachenverkauf.ch GmbH, a company specialised in the sale of lost and found items. Information on upcoming auctions can be found under www.fundsachenverkauf.ch.
