Check-in and gate

At check-in counters and boarding gates of over 217 airports worldwide, Swissport employees are the first point of contact for travelers from all over the world. On behalf of its more than 500 airline customers, our service agents served some 232 million airline passengers in 2023 (2022: 186 million). We aim to make every journey special right from the start.

High training standards prepare our employees to meet the individual needs of our customers with bespoke solutions.

Passenger Mobility

Swissport offers special services for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM). The PRM service is offered to travelers whose mobility is restricted due to a physical or mental disability or related limitations. Specially trained staff accompany passengers before departure or after arrival on their way through the airport and from/to the aircraft. The services include the use of wheelchairs, electric carts and special vehicles to help a passenger in a wheelchair to the aircraft door.

Security Services

Swissport Aviation Security provides security services at 38 airports in 15 countries. Our services include among others:

  • Document verification 
  • Passenger screening
  • Aircraft security services (guarding / search)
  • Cargo and baggage screening

Swissport’s customers can choose the security service solution which fits their needs on a local or a global level.

If you want to track the status of your delayed luggage, please contact your airline. Please mind that the operating carrier might differ from the airline you bought your ticket from.

Lounge Hospitality

Under its hospitality brand Aspire Airport Lounges, Swissport manages 69 lounges at 40 airports in 20 countries and is continuously expanding its worldwide lounge portfolio. Aspire welcomes guests irrespective of airline or class of travel and offers amenities that ensure each stay is rewarding. Last year, Aspire welcomed some 5.2 million passengers across its network.

Executive Aviation

Swissport Executive Aviation provides ground services for business aviation across the globe. The company handles more than 20,000 flights every year (2023: 25,300). At our Fixed Base Operations (FBO) in Morocco, New Zealand, Switzerland, Algeria and Cyprus  we are offering a full range of pre- and post-flight services, satisfying highest customer expectations. Swissport Executive Aviation services 77 airports in 24 countries on all six continents.
